Because sometimes, the main topic of a story can relate two pretty much different worlds into a new universe.
And, in these case, the topic is friendship. And the worlds are Warhammer 40k’s and Captain America’s. And yes, it can be done. Let’s just unwind the story.
OK, Captain America’s second film, called “Captain America: Winter Soldier”. Got it? Great. Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, has lost his BFF, Bucky Barnes, but has encountered a new enemy, the Winter Soldier, that turns to be his old, long lost friend, Bucky. When he realises it, his heart jumps up and down, in joy and pain to see what his friend has turned into.
BUT, this does not end here.
Steve faces his BFF, fights against him, only with the purpose of bringing him back. And he does, when he repeats a sentence Bucky told him a long time ago, a sentence that resumes their relationship, with some people say it has more to do with love than with friendship.
The sentence says: “Then finish it [finish me] ’cause I’m with you til the end of the line”
And then…JUST THEN… Bucky stops and looks at his friend with a new looking, remembering when he himself said that sentence. At that moment, he can’t finish with his friend and, with a turn of events, he saves his friend from a certain death.
And then we have Ferrus and Fulgrim who, if you are a connoisseur of Warhammer 40’s lore, share a strong relationship that they have forged during the years, very similiar to that of Steve and Bucky (even with the same rumours of it not being just friendship but something else).
